Hearing Aids

Your hearing needs are unique to you. Our job is to find an equally unique solution to improve your hearing and your overall quality of life.

Hearing Tests

Hearing impairment affects more than just your ability to hear; it also affects your quality of life. The hearing evaluation is just the first step we’ll take to set your plan in motion.

Tinnitus

Tinnitus is commonly described as a ringing in the ears, but it also can sound like roaring, clicking, hissing, or buzzing.  You might hear it in either one or both ears.

Hearing Aid Maintenance & Repair

Hearing aids are comprised of tiny electrical components that may experience wear and tear over time. If this is the case, you’ll likely need to visit your hearing professional to have the problem assessed. Whether it’s simply due to aging or the units have been exposed to moisture, excessive wax, debris or physical damage, you’ll want your hearing specialist to evaluate the extent of repairs needed.

Remote Hearing Care

Whether you are unable to leave your home or simply cannot reach our physical office, our practice is now offering telehealth services for hearing loss and hearing aids. You may already be familiar with telehealth as primary care physicians have been utilizing this form of medicine for more than a decade, but hearing health professionals are now offering this convenience as well.

Captel
CapTel, short for Captioned Telephone, is a service designed to assist individuals with hearing loss during telephone conversations. CapTel enables users to read captions of what the other person is saying in real-time on a display screen, making it easier for those with hearing difficulties to follow and participate in phone conversations. This service is particularly beneficial for individuals who may struggle with traditional phone calls due to hearing impairments. CapTel often uses a combination of advanced technology and communication assistants to transcribe spoken words into written captions, allowing users to stay connected and engaged during phone conversations.
Custom Earmolds and Earplugs

Earplugs serve as a form of hearing protection designed for exclusive use within the ear canal. They come in both solid varieties and those allowing varying degrees of sound to pass through. Musicians and medical professionals, desiring to maintain awareness of their surroundings while safeguarding their hearing, can opt for specialized earplugs tailored to their needs.

For enhanced comfort, custom-fit specialty earplugs can be molded to fit your ear canal precisely. These customized solutions may include features like handles or detachable cords. Beyond protection from high noise levels, earmolds and earplugs cater to diverse activities and hobbies. Customized options exist for swimmers, hunters, and even those seeking earplugs for sleeping.

Your hearing professional offers tailored solutions to align with your unique lifestyle. Safeguarding your hearing is crucial for both the present and the future. If you work in a high-noise environment, regular hearing check-ups are essential to detect early signs of hearing loss. Consult with your hearing specialist today to explore the right solution for your needs.
